- 1 cup singhara atta (water chestnut flour)
- 2 medium size potatoes boiled
- Saindha namak(vrath ka namak) for taste
- 1 teaspoon coriander leaves finely chopped(optional)
- 1 green chilly finely chopped/ ½ teaspoon red chilly powder
- 2 tablespoon grated carrot
- Water to make dough
- Oil or ghee to roast paratha

- Remove the skin of boiled potatoes and grate it
- Add singhara flour (water chest nut flour ) finely chopped green chili ,finely chopped green coriander,grated carrot,boiled grated potato and saindha namak/normal salt in i1
- Add very little or no water to make a smooth dough (boiled potatoes already contains water)
- Equally divide it in 7-8 small balls ….Lightly flour a clean dry surface where you’re going to roll the paratha and place one ball of singhada potato dough on it…Roll it into small circle disc…
- Roast it in a flat pan or tava with oil or ghee(clarified butter)
- If you want you can also make puris of this dough
- Serve singhara aloo paratha with vrath ki coconut chutney or vrath ka raita or plane or butter
